I’ve been thinking a lot about you lately, and honestly, everything seems to remind me of you. Whether it’s a specific song, a sunset, or just a quiet moment in my day, your presence is always there in the back of my mind.
I know that life hasn't always been kind to you. You’ve had to navigate so many storms that you never asked for and deal with things that were entirely out of your control. People probably tell you all the time how 'strong' you are, but I know that word can feel like a heavy weight sometimes—like a badge you never wanted to earn. So instead of calling you strong, I just want to say how much I admire the person you’ve stayed through it all. You have this incredible capacity for light, and I think you deserve to have that light reflected back at you every single day.
You deserve to have the world given to you, but more than that, you deserve someone’s absolute effort. You shouldn’t always have to be the one holding things together or figuring it out on your own. You deserve to be someone’s first thought and their highest priority. You deserve the kind of love that shows up, stays consistent, and works hard to make sure you feel safe and seen.
I miss you when we’re apart, and I’m so grateful for every moment we spend together, every text i receive from you. No matter where we are or what we’re 'labeled' as, please know that I’m in your corner. You deserve the world, and I’m just happy to be a part of yours.
Always yours,
Hayley
