Hello there, I'm Pixxiey!
shrugs i've been obsessed with the internet since i was 10 years old, on AOLRed blogs and Xanga, and love the idea of carving out a spot on the web just for myself. i've survived xanga, geocites, vaperida (i hope no one gets this reference, it was so cringe). i'd say i survived tumblr but did anyone truly survive tumblr pre-2018? i've always been somewhere online, mostly reddit and facebook the past few years. but they feel stale and commercial and i craved something personal and **mine**.
but anyways.... i'm pixxiey. i've always been pixxiey, all over the internet since neopets. i'm 30-something with a mix of human and canine children. i don't have a job, so i have a lot of free time to attempt hobbies. I crochet, sew, read, paint, anything that has a cheap start-up cost, i've tried it.
my favorite hobby is reading, though. I have a 200+ day streak on Storygraph, which i'm very proud of. i always want to talk about the latest book i've finished, but i have a hard time finding book clubs that align with my interests.
does planning count as a hobby? i spend hours every week planning my week on my digital planner. i have gigabytes of stickers and elements on goodnotes, and spend way too much time making transparent stickers from vintage sticker sheets. i plan on uploading some here to share!
i used to have a quote on the side of my website, from This is How You Lose the Time War, the best book I've read this year AND I HAVE NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT IT WITH.
